Why This Rating Is
Hard to Fake
Diamond Certified is awarded by American Ratings Corporation, which has been rating local companies since 2001. A company cannot pay its way in, cannot choose which customers get surveyed, and cannot remove a bad response once it's published.
A Random Sample
Roughly 400 past customers are pulled at random from our complete customer files — every job, not a shortlist we submitted. We have no say in who gets called.
Real People, By Phone
Each one is interviewed confidentially over the phone. No anonymous accounts, no duplicate profiles, no incentivized reviews — only verified customers who actually hired us.
A 90 or Better
To qualify at all, a company has to score 90 or above on a 100-point scale for Quality and Helpful Expertise. Most companies that apply never clear that bar.
Credentials Verified
Workers' compensation, liability insurance, state licensing and the complaint file are all independently checked — not simply taken at our word.
Rated Continuously
The surveying doesn't stop at the award. Customers keep being called, and a company that stops delivering loses the certification.

Plenty of roofing companies say they're licensed and insured. As part of the Diamond Certified process, each of these was confirmed by a third party before the award was issued — and is re-checked to keep it.
The Diamond Certified Performance Guarantee
If a dispute can't be settled between us directly, Diamond Certified will mediate. Should mediation fail because we didn't honor our contract or industry standards, they'll refund your purchase price up to $1,000. Mediation must be started within six months of purchase.
